An ideal base for exploring the Périgord Noir
Domme, one of the most beautiful bastides in France, is just a stone’s throw away. From the estate, most of the major attractions are less than 45 minutes away:
- The villages: Sarlat and its market, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Domme
- Castles: Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Milandes
- Prehistory: Lascaux, Les Eyzies
- The Gardens: Marqueyssac
- The neighboring Lot region: Rocamadour, the Padirac Chasm
You’re free to plan your own itinerary. We’ll provide you with our top recommendations, market days, and the best times to visit to avoid the crowds. If you’d like, we can put you in touch with tour guides who know the region’s history inside and out, so you can discover the sites of the Périgord like never before.
A full-board stay, with no strings attached
We offer a full-board stay: breakfast, lunch (or a picnic for your day trips), and dinner at the estate’s restaurant. In the evening, our cuisine showcases local Périgord specialties: duck confit, Sarladaise potatoes, foie gras… wine included
Our two dining rooms (seating 50 and 40) can accommodate your entire group—up to 90 people—for meals, cocktail receptions, and evening events. A complimentary welcome aperitif is served upon your arrival.
Comfortable accommodations for everyone
Participants stay in cottages scattered throughout a quiet, wooded setting. Each cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms: each guest has their own bathroom, which is very convenient for stays with friends. The cottages are air-conditioned and feature a patio.
You can book a double room—with either a double bed or twin beds—or a single room. Sheets and towels are provided, and a final cleaning is included.
A community designed for active seniors
The resort is located on a hillside, surrounded by nature. The paths between the cottages, the restaurant, and the pool area are accessible to people in good physical condition, but do include some slopes. The resort is therefore well-suited for active seniors, but is not suitable for people with limited mobility or those who require a high level of assistance. Please feel free to call us to discuss this before booking—we’ll find a solution.
Heated pool, spa, and sauna included
After a day of sightseeing, your group can enjoy the aquatic center at their leisure: a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a sauna, all open until 9 p.m. From the terrace, the view of the Périgord Noir is one of the most beautiful in the region
