Trails start right from the estate, and we provide maps or Visorando routes for the finest walks in the area, all just a few minutes from Les Ventoulines: the Bastide of Domme, the Dordogne cliffs at La Roque-Gageac, Beynac and Marqueyssac, Castelnaud. Rolling roads, the Dordogne valley and quieter lanes: we share our routes in .gpx format so you can explore the Périgord and the Dordogne and Vézère valleys, as well as other circuits as far as Padirac or Rocamadour. Family reunions

Several generations together, a chalet for each family, pools for the children and a large room for the evening party. Feel free to ask us for details on organising a family reunion in the Dordogne: self-catering for up to 40 people, or with meals provided for up to 90 people.

Associations and clubs

Come and stay at Les Ventoulines, the ideal base for cultural visits, gastronomy, castles and caves: we are perfectly located in the “Golden Triangle” of the Dordogne valley. We can also put you in touch with professional tour guides to build your programme.

Group accommodation for 15 to 90 people

The estate has 28 self-contained chalets spread out in a natural setting, so everyone has their own privacy while staying together. Bed linen and towels are provided.

On site, your group enjoys:

  • a heated indoor pool, open from April to early November, and an outdoor infinity pool heated in July and August.
  • a spa and a sauna
  • a restaurant and a bar
  • two restaurant rooms (seating 50 and 40) for meals, aperitifs and evening events
  • a playground and indoor games

Full board, half board or self-catering?

Choose the formula that suits your group:

  • Full board: breakfast, a packed lunch for your sightseeing or hiking days, and dinner at the restaurant. For example, €479 per person for 8 days and 7 nights on a full-board basis, for groups of 15 or more.
  • Half board or bed and breakfast
  • Self-catering: you take care of your own meals, for up to 40 people.

  • Day 1: arrival from 4 pm, settling into the chalets, welcome aperitif
  • Day 2: the bastide town of Domme and its panoramic view over the Dordogne valley
  • Day 3: Sarlat and its market (Wednesday or Saturday), medieval streets
  • Day 4: La Roque-Gageac and a trip down the Dordogne by canoe or gabarre boat
  • Day 5: the castles of Castelnaud and Beynac, the gardens of Marqueyssac
  • Day 6: prehistory at Lascaux IV or in the caves of the Vézère valley
  • Day 7: Rocamadour or a free day at the estate (pool, spa), group evening
  • Day 8: breakfast, packed lunches collected, departure around 10 am

This programme is just a starting point: we adapt it to your group’s pace, whether sporty or leisurely.

Routes, guides and evenings

We work with professional tour guides and give you a guide we have written ourselves to help you get to know the area, along with GPX tracks for hiking and cycling. In the evening, the restaurant becomes the venue for your aperitifs and parties, for up to 50 people.

Did you know?

– Large-capacity venues: in the Périgord Noir, the average accommodation capacity is 25 beds

– Swimming pools: in the Dordogne, only 10% of vacation resorts offer a heated, covered swimming pool.

How many people can you accommodate?

Up to 90 people with accommodation and full board, with two restaurant rooms seating 50 and 40.

When are you open?

The estate is open from 1 April to 1 November. The heated indoor pool means you can enjoy stays in spring and autumn too. If you would like to come outside these dates, we are happy to consider your request.

Can you accommodate a coach?

Yes, we have been welcoming groups arriving by coach or by car for ten years.
