Dreaming of a private hot tub all to yourselves on holiday in the Dordogne? Set at Les Ventoulines, a rather special campsite in Domme (the smallest 4-star campsite in the Dordogne) 15 km (9 miles) from Sarlat, the Key West spa is a modern 32 m² mobile home for 4 to 5 people, with its own Nordic hot tub right on the terrace. Facing the forest and not overlooked, it is yours whenever you like, from first light until late at night. It is the only mobile home with a private hot tub on the campsite, so do book early, especially in summer.

Your private hot tub, facing the forest

A Nordic hot tub at 35°C, just for you

The hot tub sits against your terrace and is yours alone for your whole stay: no other guest can use it. It is a Nordic bath with no jets, kept at 35°C from 1 April to 1 November. Calmer than a jacuzzi, it is made for unwinding rather than massage: you slip in together, listen to the forest, and time slows down.

At sunrise or under the stars

No time slots, no booking: enjoy it whenever you feel like it. A coffee in the tub at sunrise, a break between two visits, or a quiet moment for two in the evening once the children are asleep. Your only neighbours are the birds and the squirrels. A small garden lounge set completes this wellness corner, next to the large terrace table.

A 32 m² mobile home designed for families

Open-plan living, opening onto the terrace

The Key West is a latest-generation, open-plan mobile home. The kitchen, with its central island, opens wide onto the outside; you will find a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and Senseo coffee machine, as well as tea towels, salt, pepper and olive oil, just like at home. In the living area, a designer corner sofa faces the flat-screen TV. Outside, the large terrace is shaded by a sail and equipped with a barbecue.

A suite for the parents, a room for the children

Parents have a real suite: an XL 160 x 200 cm bed with memory-foam mattress, and a private shower room with a large walk-in shower and hairdryer. The children have their own bedroom, with its own shower room and toilet. A separate toilet next to the suite completes the layout.

Little extras that make a difference

Sliding doors give a real sense of space, wooden louvred shutters keep the heat out, and reversible air conditioning, included in the price, keeps you comfortable in the middle of August as well as in April.

Sleeping arrangements

• Parents’ suite: one double bed, 160 x 200 cm (please note: there is no room for a baby cot in this suite)
• Children’s room: two bunk beds, 82 x 195 cm, slightly smaller than standard, with the top bunk fairly close to the bottom one
• A pull-out bed in the children’s room for a third child

The mobile home therefore suits a couple with 2 or 3 children; it is not suitable for two couples. A detailed floor plan is available below.

Indoor pool, spa and sauna

Staying in the Key West spa also gives you access to all the facilities at Les Ventoulines: the heated indoor pool, the spa and the sauna, plus the outdoor pool and paddling pool, heated from 1 July to 31 August. What’s included

Bed linen and towels are provided, and water and electricity are included. During the summer school holidays, a welcome drink awaits you every Sunday evening, and we have negotiated preferential rates for you with a bike hire and a canoe hire company.
